Our softwood mouldings are high quality timber but please remember they are a natural product and likely to have at least one or two minor shrinkage cracks, a few knots and other minor imperfections as found in any typical piece of timber. However unlike MDF mouldings, which have none of these features, a much crisper and historically accurate moulding results and so for the sake of a few extra minutes with a filler knife and some fine sandpaper we think you will agree that the end result is well worth the minimal extra effort!
The rebated dado rails are especially suited to our Georgian Panelling but can be used with all types.
